things i know for sure

That I am part....

Disco Queen - a little Jade Jagger and Diane von Furstenberg. sexy in that slightly hippie free spirit way

Librarian - this is the strict side of me, the disciplined side, the OCD side

Good Wife - all i have to do is play into my Southern self and be the kind of woman who says, no matter what, i can make it work. you need me to cook, clean and design your home? i can do that

Rebel - going against the norm is a little bit scary

Seductress - i think there's a mistress in all of us.

things i know for sure

1. cell phone holsters make my skin crawl

2. if i ASK how i look, please don't say fine

3. hair starts growing in funny places after you turn fifty and there's not much you can do about it

4. Shoes always fit and not hurt

5. fifty percent of the noise you make during sex is for them. that's how much you love him

6. where i put perfume is where i want to be kissed

7. i'm the best friend you will ever need if i love you

where my mind goes sometimes....

I'm cleaning and getting the place ready to cook sukiyaki for Gary's b'day dinner tomorrow night. clean clean clean. i've invited Stephanie but haven't heard if she'll be able to come and i've invited Daliah to come and spend the night. She and Jamie can drink booze together. fun times.

i turned the tv while cleaning and the Nate Berkus Show was on. Usually it's boring to me but today, he visited Orah's home. Ohh Mm Gee.

The property is absolutely gorgeous. A lavender field and a beautiful teahouse. And a really big old tree, all alone, with rocks to sit on, underneath it. So peaceful.
